The Yukon Girls is one of the major annual projects of Shootout Productions. Shootout Productions has been involved with numerous calendar projects, and model competitions and searches, and is pleased to take the Yukon Girls Calendar project into a sixth year of production.

We consider the Yukon Girls calendars as a celebration of beauty, both of the participating models and the Yukon Territory. Whenever possible we use scenic outdoor locations for our photoshoots, with an emphasis on the natural beauty of the Yukon.

Some people are opposed to the calendar project, they don't like it, but some people don't like country music either. People that don't like country music, don't have to listen to it! Some people have even made comments that the calendar is sexist, demeaning to women, an exploitation of women, and even racist (though I have no idea where they got that one). We maintain that the calendar is none of these things. Our models all choose to appear in the calendar, choose their own wardrobe (no specific style is mandatory), choose their own poses, and help in the selection of photos to be featured in the finished project. No one is coerced, mistreated, or abused in any way. The models that have participated in the project all say that they've enjoyed the experience and feel good about themselves for participating. Most importantly they have also all had a lot of fun!

The entrance requirements for the calendar are quite simple (and we accept all and any "races").  1] Models must be at least 19 years of age.  2] Models must be current residents of the Yukon, or were born and raised in the Yukon.  3] Models must be available for the scheduled photoshoots (which are held in the Yukon). The calendar project is intended to be FUN, and to become a memorable experience for the participants, crew and producers, and in the end provide a memento and keepsake (perhaps even a legacy). The project is intended to bring people together, establish new friends, and to participate in events that promote camaraderie and the splendor of the Yukon.

Very few of the models have had previous modeling experience, and none could be considered as "professional" models. The models are not paid for appearing in the calendar, but incur no expenses, and receive various perks and prizes. None of the photos in the calendar are distasteful, or sexually explicit. We commend all of the models that have participated in the project.

The updated gallery now includes models from the 2013 calendar edition (and also includes models from 2008 through 2012).
